How to express interest in a campaign
In this section, we'll discuss how to express interest in your first campaign.
On the campaign dashboard, in the 'Browse and Express Interest' section, you can view all available campaigns in your area.
If you find a campaign that sparks your interest, click on it to view the details.
If it resonates with you and you'd like to participate, simply scroll back up to the top and click the blue 'Express Interest' button.
When you click, a prompt will appear asking you to share why you'd be a great fit for the campaign. We call this your 'Bird Blurb' or your pitch. This is your opportunity to tell the brand why you're excited about this particular campaign. Learn more about writing this section below.
It’s not required to submit a ‘Bird Blurb’ but we highly recommend it! It helps the brand understand your specific interest in their campaign.
After submitting you’ll see the campaign pop to your “Expressed Interest” section on the campaign dashboard. It’ll remain here until you have been selected or the window for selection has passed.
You have the option to remove your interest if you decide you don’t want to be considered for this campaign any longer.
Writing a bird blurb
Your Bird Blurb is also known as your pitch!
When you express interest in a campaign, you have the opportunity to tell a brand why you’re specifically excited about their campaign.
It’s like sending a personal note to the brand and your chance to say "Hey, I love what you're doing, and here's why I’d be a great fit or how I think I can add value to it!"
In your pitch, you get to share your unique viewpoint, highlight how you vibe with the brand's values, or showcase the creative content ideas you have. It's like giving the brand a sneak peek into why you're a fantastic match for their campaign and how you can help make it a hit!
