About Benson Soap Mills

Benson Soap Mill was founded by Ryan Cook and Tim Maides who both live in Benson, NE. They chose to go green by repurposing natural and discarded products from local restaurants, coffee shops, and farms, “because you’re filthy.”

Some of their locally sourced ingredients come from:

  • Simply Sunflower in Ord, NE

  • Reclaimed Enterprises Inc. in Omaha, NE

  • Rantillo Design in Benson, NE

  • Whood Homegood in Omaha, NE

  • Mug Life Coffee Co in Benson, NE

  • Bee Grateful Gardens in Omaha, NE

Benson Soap Mill campaign results

Hummingbirds had nothing but kind things to say about the great smell and feel of their soap! (Special shoutout to the eucalyptus and rosemary bar.) Followers were excited to learn about a new-to-them local brand and try them out for themselves. The push to reuse natural products, that would otherwise turn into waste, has been growing over the last decade, and consumers are discovering that these products are just as good as traditional ones.

Drive traffic to your local business using content creators

Oftentimes, the best way to get new eyeballs on your brand is by using local people as your distribution channel. Partner with content creators to experience your product and share about it with their network both online and offline. Book a discovery call with Hummingbirds to learn how this can work for your brand.
