step 1: Switch to Creator Account on Instagram
Open Instagram and go to your profile
Select the Edit profile button
Click Switch to a Professional Account
Select Digital Creator and select Creator
Note: This change is private and does not visibly change anything on your account unless you enable professional features.
step 2: Link to Facebook to Get an Enhanced Profile

Open Instagram and go to your profile
Select the Edit profile button
Under Profile information, click-on connect or create and then Continue
Choose a Page from your existing Pages that you’d like to connect OR select Create a New Facebook Page. This is just for Hummingbirds; it won’t be publicized to your network.
Note: The Facebook page will not be publicized.
step 3: integrate with hummingbirds
Log in to the Hummingbirds platform
In the navigation bar, go to My Profile > Social Networks
Click on the Instagram Connect Your Account button > Allow
Enter the number of Instagram followers > Save
Click on Facebook Finish Connecting
Enter the number of Facebook followers > Save
Note: If your Instagram and Facebook accounts are already connected, please disconnect and then reconnect.
DO YOU HAVE A PROFESSIONAL FACEBOOK ACCOUNT?
If your connected Facebook page is set up as a Professional account, it won’t allow the switch to an Enhanced Profile. Follow these steps to check and adjust if needed.
Open Facebook and go to your profile
Tap on the 3-dots under your profile photo, on the the right side of your profile
Click on Turn off professional mode > Continue
Click on Settings & Privacy > Settings
Scroll to Business Integrations on the left side of the page
Navigate to Hummingbirds and click on Remove > Remove
Log in to the Hummingbirds platform
In the navigation bar, go to My Profile > Social Networks
Follow the above Step 3 instructions to remove and reconnect your

Why switch to a creator account?
No changes to your Instagram profile
Switching from a personal to a Creator account does not visibly change anything about your account if you do not want it to. In fact, no one will know that you switched your account type unless you activate the features that come with it. Learn more about creator accounts.
Enhanced profile in the platform
Hummingbirds with Creator accounts that are also linked to Facebook will receive a badge in the platform showing that they have Enhanced Profiles. Because the posts and data are easier to access, some brands are more likely to select hummingbirds with this Enhanced Badge.
